Privacy Policy
MCTiers Queue Watcher ยท Effective August 12, 2026
MCTiers Queue Watcher is an unofficial third-party extension operated by its independent developer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord or MCTiers. The extension monitors queue messages in Discord's web app and can press a visible Join Queue button after you start it. It does not request, read, or store your Discord password or account token.
Information we process
On your device: The extension reads visible Discord page content needed for queue detection, including queue message text, button labels, the current channel identifier, and queue confirmation or position information when available. Settings, activity logs, license status, consent choice, and queue statistics are stored locally in Chrome.
Developer-operated service: For licensing, abuse prevention, and community vouches, the extension may send a pseudonymous installation identifier, extension and platform version, license key, queue community and summary, channel identifier, detection or join timing, queue position when available, and confirmation status to a Cloudflare Worker. The extension no longer reads or sends your Discord display name.
Network information: Cloudflare necessarily receives connection information such as your IP address. Our Worker shortens the address to an approximate network prefix and hashes it for free-client registration rate limits and Premium device binding. We do not use it to determine your precise location.
How information is used
We use this information only to provide queue detection and joining features, validate Premium access, bind a Premium license to an installation, verify successful joins, prevent duplicate or abusive vouches, troubleshoot service operation, and post community vouches. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use it for lending or credit decisions.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Information received through Chrome extension permissions is used only to provide or improve the extension's disclosed single purpose. It is not transferred except as necessary to provide that purpose, maintain security, comply with law, or complete a permitted business transfer. It is not used for personalized advertising or credit decisions. Humans do not read private page content except with the user's specific consent for support, when necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, when required by law, or after the information has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Retention
- Local extension data remains until you clear the extension's Chrome storage or remove the extension.
- Free-client permits and their hashed installation records expire after 90 days.
- Duplicate-vouch records expire after 15 minutes. Registration rate-limit records are pruned after 24 hours.
- Premium license-binding records, including hashed license, device, and approximate network identifiers, remain while needed to enforce the license or until the binding is reset or deleted following a support request.
- A vouch posted to Discord remains under that Discord server's retention and moderation practices.
Service providers and disclosures
Cloudflare hosts the validation and anti-abuse service. Whop is contacted to validate Whop Premium memberships. Discord receives community vouches and any optional personal-webhook messages configured by a Premium user. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service from fraud or abuse.
International processing and security
These providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. We limit the information sent, use HTTPS in transit, pseudonymize installation and network identifiers, restrict administrative endpoints, and apply rate limits. No online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can decline the first-run disclosure, stop the watcher, clear locally stored extension data through Chrome, or remove the extension. You may ask to access or delete backend records associated with a license key or installation identifier. We may need information sufficient to verify that the request concerns your record. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required to use Discord in their country. We do not knowingly collect information from children who cannot lawfully use the service.
Changes
We may update this policy when the extension or its data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, a new in-extension disclosure.
